Everything you need to know about flying into Los Cabos and getting to the resort.

Los Cabos International (SJD)
Airport code
SJD — Los Cabos International, in San José del Cabo. The only major airport serving the area.
Drive time to the resort
About 40 minutes by car to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, depending on traffic.
Direct flights
Most major US cities offer direct service to SJD. American, Delta, United, Alaska, Southwest, and JetBlue all fly nonstop from at least one hub. Direct flights from Mexico City and Guadalajara are frequent on Aeroméxico and Volaris.
Don't forget your passport. A valid passport is required to enter Mexico. Renewals can take weeks — check your expiration date now if you haven't lately.

Getting to the resort
Pre-Booked Group Transfer
The easiest option. We'll share a recommended transfer service closer to the date — coordinating a vehicle with other guests on your flight cuts the per-person cost.
Private Transfer
Booked through Pueblo Bonito or a local operator. Driver meets you in arrivals with a sign. Best for families or guests with extra luggage.
Rideshare (Uber)
Uber operates from SJD to the resort. Reliable and usually less expensive than a private transfer for two travelers.
Rental Car
Available at SJD if you plan to explore beyond the resort. Note: highway driving in Baja is straightforward, but parking at downtown Cabo can be tight.
Tip: post your arrival details in the wedding group chat (we'll share one closer to the date) — coordinating shared transfers is an easy way to cut costs and meet other guests early.
During the weekend
Getting around
Resort Shuttle (free)
Pueblo Bonito runs a complimentary shuttle on a fixed schedule between Sunset Beach, its sister properties (Pacifica, Rosé, Los Cabos), and the marina district.
Hotel Taxis
Reliable for short trips into town. The bell desk can call one — fares are usually fixed by zone.
Walking
All Saturday wedding events are on the resort property — no driving needed. Beach to Sky Pool is a short walk.
